About Me:
My name is Jasmin Chaudhry(JCFlixx). I grew up in Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire and am currently completing a foundation course at Ravensbourne University in South East London.
I specialise in editing and other aspects of post-production, with photography and videography as a side practice.
Life experiences have taught me that media is the key to making life infinite. We wouldn’t know about things like our history without books, we wouldn’t know about our heritage without movies and stories. Therefore, I would like to display this within my work by taking pictures of friends and family and telling a story through colours. When I edit, I like to make my work colourful as I believe that colour can be used to display emotion and meaning (Colour Theory).
My creative process has been inspired through the concepts of life and death, making life ‘last forever’ through film and images. This is due to life being so surprisingly short and death being the only thing that is promised. The only way life can carry on is through forms of media. Consequently, it is really important to record what you can of every little thing.
